Question 1

Can I split by size, page count, exact ranges, or manual page selection?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The splitter supports file-size targets, fixed page batches, exact ranges like 1-3,5,7-9, and manual page selection.

Question 2

Can I split several PDFs at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can load one or several PDFs. In manual page selection, you can keep one output per source PDF or merge the selected pages into one new file.

Question 3

Why was no file downloaded after I clicked Cut PDF?

Accepted Answer

The tool only downloads results that create a real split. If a PDF already fits the selected size, the chosen range matches the whole document, or the current page setting would keep the file unchanged, the result stays listed for review instead of downloading.

Question 4

How do I split a PDF by custom page ranges?

Accepted Answer

Use the exact ranges mode and enter values such as 1-3,5,7-9. The tool creates results from the pages that match those ranges.

Question 5

What is the difference between splitting by file size and splitting by page count?

Accepted Answer

Split by file size tries to keep each result near a size target in MB, while split by page count creates fixed groups such as every 2, 5, or 10 pages.
